To make State staff aware of the availability of new Occupational Employment Statistics Survey (OES) data and to provide information on how it is to be used in light of the changes to prevailing wage determination practices as promulgated by the American Competitiveness and Workforce Improvement Act (ACWIA); and to transmit Prevailing Wage Policy "Q's & A's" (Attachment A) which provide policy and procedural guidance clarifying the intent of General Administration Letter (GAL) No. 2-98, particularly with regard to the use of employer-provided wage data.
