Announcement of Enhancements to Identity Verification Services and Funding Opportunity to Support State Costs Associated with Participation in Such Services
To advise states that the U.S. Department of Labor (Department) is enhancing its identity (ID) verification services offering via the U.S. General Services Administration’s(GSA) Login.gov and to announce a new funding opportunity to support state-incurred expenses related to participation in these ID verification services.

Updated Dates for Permanent Transition of Unemployment Insurance Required Reports and Benefit Accuracy Measurement Applications from the Unemployment Insurance Database Management System to the Unemployment Insurance Reporting System
To provide State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) with an updated notice of the upcoming permanent transition of the Unemployment Insurance Required Reports (UIR) and Benefit Accuracy Measurement (BAM) applications from Unemployment Insurance Database Management System (UIDBMS) to Unemployment Insurance Reporting System (UIRS); to provide instructions to SWAs on how to submit data to UIRS; and to advise SWAs that starting January 20, 2026, all states must transmit their UIR data only through UIRS and that starting February 9, 2026, all states must transmit their BAM data only through UIRS.
