The guide provides promising practices that correlate with specific nondiscrimination and equal opportunity requirements in Section 188 of WIOA and its implementing regulations.

To advise states that the deadline for accepting DUA applications has changed from 30 days to 60 days, for all disasters declared after March 23, 2024.

To publish FY 2024 state-level RESEA outcome payment performance targets for the reemployment and reduced UI duration of RESEA participants and to provide states with a midyear analysis of their performance levels compared against these targets.

To provide states with instructions for requesting continued workload-based administrative funding for CARES Act benefit programs. The programs covered under this Unemployment Insurance Program Letter (UIPL) include Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC), Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC), and Mixed Earners Unemployment Compensation (MEUC).
