TEMPLE, Texas — A new Wage and Hour Division field office has opened in Temple to connect employees, employers, community organizations and other stakeholders with resources and assistance to ensure compliance with federal wage and hour laws. The field office is located in the W.R. Poage Federal Building at 101 S. Main St., Room 350, Temple, TX 76501.

"Temple and surrounding area residents are now closer to receiving Wage and Hour assistance," said Cynthia Watson, regional administrator for the Wage and Hour Division in the Southwest. The Wage and Hour Division's Temple Field Office has oversight for agency enforcement throughout the greater Temple, Killeen and Fort Hood area, including enforcement of labor standards on federal construction and service contracts. It is an extension of the division's Dallas District Office, located at 1701 E. Lamar Blvd., Suite 270, Arlington, TX 76006. The Temple office will have limited staffing and office hours; however, the public can call the Dallas District Office for assistance in English or Spanish.
