‘50+ Women2Work Conference’ to help women return to work, school

Learn valuable skills, prepare for reentry at Tyler Junior College event

Who: Women, 50 years and older who are ready to return to work or school

What: The “50+ Women2WorkConference” is an opportunity for women 50 years and older to learn job readiness skills and get advice for re-entering the workforce. The conference will also discuss job application techniques, making a lasting impression in the interview process, navigating the emotional aspects of preparing for a new job and becoming your own boss. Conference speakers will also talk about how women seeking to go or return to college can manage finances and resources. The event is free and open to the public. I will be hosted by the U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau, Tyler Junior College and the East Texas Chapter of the Links Inc.
