WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Labor today unveiled a new interactive website, or Union Elections Advisor, to help millions of union members, union officers, union election committees and candidates in union elections better understand their rights and responsibilities under the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act. The Labor Department's Office of Labor-Management Standards administers and enforces most provisions of the LMRDA.

Campaign depends upon community organizations to implement local level activities

WASHINGTON—The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) today launched a program aimed at promoting greater awareness and compliance with DOL’s employment laws through partnerships and activities with nonprofit stakeholder organizations. The new Partnerships for Compliance Assistance Program (PCAP) will complement DOL’s public outreach efforts and help protect the wages, health benefits, retirement security, safety and health of America’s workforce.
