Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su addressed the U.S. Conference of Mayors this week, highlighting opportunities to work together to connect workers to good jobs, support and sustain equitable economic growth, and create real opportunity for all. She also discussed how the department is using investments from President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support job creation around the country.

Acting Secretary Su spoke at the AFL-CIO’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Civil and Human Rights Conference in Alabama this week. While there, she also honored King’s legacy by participating in a day of service with Meals on Wheels.

Acting Secretary Su joined members and leaders of Arriba Las Vegas Workers Center last week for a roundtable discussion on protections for immigrant workers.
