Part 616, and to make a technical assistance tool available to State Workforce Agencies for staff use in addressing CWC issues previously adjudicated by another state in compliance with 20 C.F.R. 616.8 (a).

To transmit the subject computation for State Employment Security Agency (SESA) usage in computing minimum weekly DUA amounts for ail major disasters declared during the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 1998.

To transmit revisions to ET Handbook 410, 5th Edition, RJM.

To advise State Employment Security Agencies (SESAs) of procedural changes in the handling of interstate claims and of the elimination of certain IB forms.

To transmit an updated Attachment providing a new Employment and Training Administration (ETA) Form number (ETA 9178) for the Quarterly Program Reporting Form for required reporting of quarterly progress and implementation updates for UI SBR grants.

To advise State Employment Security Agencies (SESAs) of the Department's policy concerning independent verification and validation (IV&V) of year 2000 compliance of SESAs' unemployment insurance (UI) automated benefit and tax systems; to provide guidelines for use in performing IV&V; and to require the submission of IV&V plans.
