Extending the Deadline for Declaring Intent to Negotiate and for Submitting the Proposed Targets when Negotiating Performance Goals for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Title 1B Programs and Wagner-Peyser Act Funded Activities for Program Year (PY) 2011

Purpose

To inform states of the extension of the due date for declaring their intent to negotiate PY 2011 performance goals (or to use PY 2010 goals for PY 2011) and for submitting proposed performance goals when negotiating WIA Title 1B performance and customer satisfaction goals and performance levels for the Wagner-Peyser Act funded activities for PY 2011. The new deadline is June 20, 2011.

L. 114-27). The updated regulations reduce regulatory burden by modernizing, simplifying, and clarifying state administration of the TAA Program.
