Purpose. To announce the 2022 SIDES administrative website webinar series Moving the Integrity Needle Using SIDES Data that will be hosted by the National Association of State Workfor ce Agencies NASWA from October 6 2022 through November 17 2022. 2. Action Requested. State Administrators are requested to share this information with appropriate staff and support participation in the webinar series. 3. Summary and Background. a. Summary This Training and Employment Notice TEN announces the 2022 SIDES administrative website webinar series Moving the Integrity Needle Using SIDES Data. This webinar series is designed to inform state workforce agencies SWAs about their capabilities via the SIDES administration website reports and to share successful strategies for using the data to enhance Unemployment Insurance UI operations and integrity. b. Background States should view SIDES as a critical part of their UI integrity efforts and should connect to and build SIDES into their Integrity Action Plan as noted most recently in Unemployment Insurance Program Letter UIPL No. 17-22. SIDES is a web-based system that allows the electronic transmission of UI claims information between UI agencies and employers. 4. Webinar Details. The Employment and Training Administration ETA encourages state participation in the Moving the Integrity Needle Using SIDES Data administrative website webinar series. This webinar series will allow SWAs and integrated partners to share the features of the SIDES administrative website and successful strategies for using the data and reports for daily operations to help improve performance metrics to support integrity objectives. This ser ies is open to all SWAs and integrated partners such as adjudication managers business analysts integrated partner reporting managers project managers SIDES 2 developers SIDES liaisons software providers state Benefit Payment Control reporting managers state fraud reporting managers and state SIDES Help Desk teams. The series consists of four parts beginning October 6 2022. These webinars will occur every two weeks for eight weeks through November 17 2022. Each training will be approximately 30 minutes long followed by a question and answer session. A survey will be released following each session of the webinar. NASWA will host the webinars on the Zoom meeting platform. Registration is available at https www.naswa.org events moving-the-integrity-needle-using-sides-data-webinar-series- session-1. 5.
