DIRECTORY OF FEDERAL CIVILIAN AND MILITARY AGENCIES REQUESTING QUARTERLY DETAILED UCFE OR UCX BENEFIT PAYMENT DATA Public Law 96-499 Omnibus Reconciliation Act enacted December 5 1980 amended the UCFE law 5 UCFE 8501 et seq. and requires each Federal agency to pay the cost of regular and extended UCFE benefits paid to its employees on the basis of Federal service performed after December 31 1980. Public Law 97-362 Miscellaneous Revenue Act of 1983 effective October 1 1983 requires the Department of Defense to pay the costs of all regular and extended UCX benefits paid attributable to all Federal military service. Upon request agencies are to be provided detailed benefit payment data which support those charges and adjustments which are included on the certified billing document for the quarter. The attached directory represents both the Federal civilian and military agencies that have requested the quarterly detailed data.
