U.S. Secretary of Labor Acosta Headlines West Virginia Chamber's 2018 Business Summit

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV – U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta discussed President Trump's efforts to unleash economic opportunity for America's workforce and small businesses in a keynote address at the West Virginia Chamber's 2018 Annual Meeting and Business Summit.

"President Trump is dedicated to fostering an economic and regulatory environment that will create jobs, more jobs, and even more jobs," said Secretary Acosta. "I was glad to be in the Mountain State with so many small business leaders to discuss President Trump's pro-growth agenda that continues to empower the American workforce."

Following his remarks, Secretary Acosta fielded questions from the West Virginia Chamber, where he discussed the wide-ranging positive impact of the President's tax cuts, the newly announced Office of Compliance Initiatives at the Department of Labor, and the Department's efforts to help veterans, service members and their families obtain good, family-sustaining jobs.
