Statement by U.S. Secretary of Labor Acosta on Martin Luther King, Jr., Day

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta issued the following statement regarding Martin Luther King, Jr., Day:

“Today, we honor the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and his historic efforts to advance the fundamental American ideals of liberty and justice for all. As the Department of Labor observes Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, we remember Dr. King’s words: ‘Whatever your life’s work is, do it well.’”
