U.S. Department of Labor to host June 25 web cast on recent regulations and guidance

Washington – The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) will host a free web cast June 25 to help employers and plan administrators understand recent regulatory and interpretative guidance under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

This is the third in a series of web casts that will address issues relating to the qualified default investment alternative regulation, delinquent contributions, participant contribution safe harbor proposal and recent amicus briefs involving ERISA.

The series is being offered as part of EBSA’s compliance assistance program – Getting It Right - Know Your Fiduciary Responsibilities – to help employers and plan administrators understand their fiduciary responsibilities in operating a retirement plan.

This event is open to news media.
