Gary Popeck beat out 250 applicants to be hired as an assistant corporate controller for a New Jersey company. He credits the career counseling and support he received at a Dover, N.J., One-Stop Career Center with helping him land the job.
Ronica Mitchell enrolled at the Job Corps center in Gulfport, Miss., where she graduated with a certificate in medical office support. She has enlisted in the Air Force and plans to attend nursing school once she has completed her service.
