To announce the rate of interest the U.S. Treasury Department will charge on Title XII advances (loans) during CY 2008.

To report on the status of UI DV implementation, provide FY 2003 directions, and identify U. S. Department of Labor (Department) National Office UI DV contacts.

To provide guidance regarding the Department of Labor's (Department's) interpretation of Federal law regarding the intercept of refunds of erroneous employer contributions to offset other employer liabilities to the state.

To alert states to ¿SUTA Dumping¿ activities in industries that tend to have high turnover of staff and high unemployment insurance (UI) costs, and to recommend possible approaches to curb this activity.

To inform all State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) of (a) the availability of the Immigration and Naturalization Service¿s (INS) automated secondary system to verify immigration status of alien claimants and (b) the discontinuation of two access methods for the alien verification process.

To remind state workforce agencies (SWAs) that the procedures for and the use of the Request for Military Document/Information for Unemployment Compensation Purposes UCX, Form ETA 8-43, have not changed, and to provide an updated list of the addresses of State Adjutants General.

To provide additional guidance on the allowable use of administrative funds made available for administering the TEUC Program and to modify the treatment of TEUC administrative funds in the RJM submission.
