National Apprenticeship Week 2026: National Signing Day Ceremony

Join Acting Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling as well as representatives from AstraZeneca, JobForward, IBM, and M&T Bank to kick off National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) 2026 with a landmark National Signing Day Ceremony! This event celebrates the expansion of industry-driven Registered Apprenticeship programs and highlights the commitment of America's employers to building a highly skilled workforce for the future.
This ceremony is a key part of the Department of Labor's national effort to create more pathways to secure, high-paying jobs and help propel us toward our goal of one million apprentices.
The event will be held at the U.S. Department of Labor headquarters, but we encourage you to join us online to hear remarks from Administration officials and industry leaders. The event will also include an official signing of new Registered Apprenticeship standards with several employer partners, followed by an insightful fireside chat facilitated by Deputy Secretary Keith Sonderling.
