Courtney Walter
Courtney Walter is the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Department of Labor under Acting Secretary Keith Sonderling. Previously, she served as the Senior Counselor to the Secretary. She has worked in various capacities at the Department of Labor during the first Trump Administration, including as Senior Counsel in the Office of the Solicitor. Courtney previously worked in the private sector, focusing on labor and employment matters. She had a two-year judicial clerkship for the Honorable Ursula Ungaro in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Courtney holds degrees from the Pennsylvania State University and Florida International University College of Law, where she graduated valedictorian.
