The Trade Adjustment Program is Changing

Effective July 1, 2021, the TAA Program as amended by the Trade Adjustment Assistance Reauthorization Act of 2015 (TAARA, 2015 Program, or 2015 Amendments) is reverted to a previous version of the program, referred to as Reversion 2021.  See how the TAA Program is changed for petitions filed on or after July 1, 2021 here.  Guidance for State Workforce Agencies is here.

Information Regarding Petition Submission

To ensure timely processing of petitions, we strongly encourage submitting petitions through our online petition portal. Petitions may also be submitted by email at taa.petition@dol.gov or by fax to 202-693-3584 or 202-693-3585.

Following OMB guidance, Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance staff are working 100% remotely at this time. Petitions that are submitted by U.S. mail, FedEx, UPS, or in-person cannot currently be reviewed at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
