To announce the rate of interest that the U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) will charge on Title XII advances during CY 2022.

The purpose of this Training and Employment Guidance Letter (TEGL) is to provide Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) states, territories, and outlying areas with guidance for submission of two-year modifications to SCSEP Stand-Alone State Plans, including the process and deadline for submission. To transmit to states and outlying areas the impact of updated data on WIOA Title I Youth, Adult, and Dislocated Worker program allotments for PY 2022.

To notify State Workforce Agencies of the availability of up to $15 million for selected states to participate in the ARPA UI Navigator Program. These funds will help workers learn about, apply for, and, if eligible, receive UI benefits and related services (i.e., navigate the UI program) and to support state agencies in delivering timely benefits to workers—especially individuals in groups that are historically underserved, marginalized, and adversely affected by persistent poverty and inequality.

To ensure State Workforce Agencies (SWA) are aware that employers seeking to hire foreign workers for temporary employment under a supplemental H-2B visa cap for work certified to commence in the first half of FY 2022 must contact an American Job Center (AJC) for assistance in recruiting U.S. workers for their job opportunities.
