Luke Timmons currently serves as Chief of Staff at the Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration. Prior to joining the Administration, Luke was an Associate Director at Guidehouse, where he advised government agencies on process and policy transformation, efficiency, and improvement through the application of evidence-based policy. Luke spent three years advising federal and state agencies on the use of behavioral insights and evidence to modernize and enhance our nation’s Unemployment Insurance system.
Luke has over ten years’ experience in policy consulting positions around the globe, starting his career in the UK where he advised both national and local governments on evidence-based policy on a range of topics from early childhood and adolescent development to small business procurement reform. Luke holds an MA (Hons) from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
