Before joining VETS, Mr. Usher served as Director of Business Development for Ascent Global Logistics where he advanced time‑critical logistics solutions, strengthened market presence, and built high‑value client partnerships across a portfolio of aerospace and radiopharmaceutical customers. Prior to Ascent, Mr. Usher held a senior leadership role overseeing global procurement in support of the world's largest fleet of private aircraft where he was accountable for developing robust sourcing strategies and leading supplier negotiations to support a diverse, international fleet.
Earlier roles included advancing supply chain performance, implementing business improvement initiatives, strengthening planning and control systems, and managing cross‑functional projects. Across these positions, he delivered large‑scale process improvements, enhanced operational reliability, and guided international teams through complex organizational and supply chain challenges.
