Informational Session on OFCCP and our Megaproject Construction Program

OFCCP, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill and You – Working Together to promote diversity in the construction trades.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs hosting an Informational Session on OFCCP and our Megaproject Construction Program.  In support of the President’s landmark Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) is creating good jobs in the construction industry across the country, OFCCP launched our Mega Construction Project (Megaproject) Program on March 14, 2023. Through the Megaproject Program, OFCCP will proactively promote equitable hiring and fair workplaces by federal contractors in the construction trades on large federal and federally funded projects. In addition to conducting construction compliance evaluations, we will provide extensive and no-cost compliance assistance to contractors and subcontractors. Our goal is to strengthen recruitment, hiring, and employment practices, remove hiring barriers, and promote consideration of a diverse pool of qualified workers for jobs in the construction trades, including women, people of color, veterans, and people with disabilities.

The OFCCP Richmond Area Office proudly invites the local community groups within the Richmond, Virginia area to hear about OFCCP and our Megaproject Construction, and how we look to engage, partner, and collaborate with you to ensure women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and veterans are afforded an opportunity to work on these projects.
