Notice of Termination of Investigation
Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, an
investigation was initiated on December 18, 2000, in response to
a worker petition which was filed on behalf of workers at CENTEC
Roll Corporation, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
The company has requested that the petition be withdrawn.
Consequently, further investigation in this case would serve no
purpose, and the investigation has been terminated.
Currently, a NAFTA Transitional Adjustment Assistance
investigation (NAFTA #4353)) is in progress for workers at the
subject firm. A decision on worker eligibility for benefits under
the TAA program will be made concurrently with this decision.
