Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC)
Outreach in New Mexico! – On Tuesday, August 22, 2017, DEEOIC held a DOL Medical Benefits Meeting and Traveling Resource Center at the Phil L. Thomas Performing Arts Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. Staff members from the Denver District Office and Espanola and Las Vegas Resource Centers (RCs) helped sponsor this event which attracted 101 people. Guests who attended enjoyed the 9:00 a.m. presentation about medical benefits provided under the EEOICPA. Staff was also available from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm to answer questions, assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA, and provide claimants with status updates on their existing claims.
