Dear:

This office has recently completed an audit of the Hebrew Actors Union / Hebrew Actors Foundation under the Compliance Audit Program (CAP) to determine your organization’s compliance with the provisions of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (LMRDA). As discussed during the exit interview with you on January 29, 2015, the following problems were disclosed during the CAP. The matters listed below are not an exhaustive list of all possible problem areas since the audit conducted was limited in scope.

Reporting Violation

The CAP disclosed a violation of LMRDA Section 201(b) because the Hebrew Actors Union / Hebrew Actors Foundation failed to file a terminal Labor Organization Annual Report (Form LM-3) for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2013. This violation was remedied by your filing of the required report on January 29, 2015.

The documentation that you have provided establishes that the Hebrew Actors Union has now been reincorporated as the Hebrew Actors Foundation, and is no longer a labor organization as defined in Section 3(i) of the LMRDA. Accordingly, it will not be necessary for the organization to file any Labor Organization Annual Reports in the future.

I want to extend my personal appreciation to the Hebrew Actors Foundation for the cooperation and courtesy extended during this compliance audit. If we can provide any additional assistance, please do not hesitate to call.

Sincerely,

Senior Investigator
