Brian Pifer

Brian A. Pifer serves as the Director of the Office of Field Operations (OFO). The OFO supervises the regional directors and provides executive-level leadership and direction for OLMS field program operations nationwide. Before assuming his current position in June 2020, Mr. Pifer served as the Chief of the Division of Enforcement beginning January 2019, overseeing the OLMS civil and criminal enforcement activities under the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA). Mr. Pifer began his career with the Office of Worker’s Compensation Programs in 1994, before joining OLMS as an investigator in June 2003. He was promoted to a supervisory investigator in 2006 and then to district director of the Cleveland District Office in 2008. He became the district director of the Cincinnati-Cleveland District Office in 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hiram College.
