OWCP CODE SET DISCLOSURE AND LICENSING NOTICE
This page provides the required legal disclosures and licensing terms for CPT®, HCPCS, and CDT® code sets used by the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP). Access to code content is permitted only after you indicate acceptance of these terms.

The five-character codes included in the Office of Workers' Compensation Program Fee Schedule (the "Fee Schedule") are obtained from the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®), copyright 2025 by the American Medical Association (AMA). CPT® is developed by the AMA as a listing of descriptive terms and five character identifying codes (to include Category II and III), and modifiers for reporting medical services and procedures performed by physicians.
Fee schedules, relative value units, conversion factors and/or related components are not assigned by the AMA, are not part of CPT, and the AMA is not recommending their use. The AMA does not directly or indirectly practice medicine or dispense medical services. The AMA assumes no liability for data contained or not contained herein.

HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System)
HCPCS Level II codes are maintained by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Unless otherwise noted by CMS, HCPCS Level II codes are public domain.
Users should consult CMS for the official definitions, instructions, and proper usage of HCPCS codes.

CDT® codes, descriptions, and other data are © American Dental Association (ADA). CDT® is a registered trademark of the ADA.
