Form T-1 Rulemaking: Final Rule extending the filing due date of Form T-1

On December 30, 2009, the Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) published in the Federal Register a rule extending for one year the filing due date of all Form T-1 Trust Annual Reports required to be filed during calendar year 2010.  See: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2009-12-30/pdf/E9-30942.pdf.  This extension will prevent unions from incurring costly reporting burdens pending a rulemaking to rescind the Form T-1 regulation, which the Department announced in its Spring Regulatory Agenda.  See: https://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/eAgendaViewRule?pubId=200904&RIN=1215-AB75. The rule does not affect those reports due during calendar year 2011 or beyond.
