Ethan Dazelle

Ethan Dazelle serves as the Acting Chief of the Division of Interpretations and Regulations (DIR) with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS). The DIR Chief is responsible for developing and formulating policy, as well as administering and directing all OLMS regulatory activity and the Secretary of Labor’s transit employee protection responsibilities under Federal transit law.

Mr. Dazelle joined OLMS in 2018 as a Presidential Management Fellow and in 2020, after successfully completing his fellowship, joined DIR as a Policy and Law Advisor. Mr. Dazelle holds a J.D. from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, an M.B.A. from the Charlton School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy & in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
