Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC)
Outreach in Illinois! – On June 14, 2017, DEEOIC staff members from BOTA sponsored an outreach event at the Metropolis Community Center in Metropolis, Illinois (IL). Staff members from the Cleveland and Jacksonville district offices and Paducah Resource Center attended the event which attracted 26 people. Guests who attended enjoyed the 9:00 a.m. presentation about EEOICPA and an overview of medical benefits provided under the program (including home health care). Staff was also available from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 to 4:00 pm to answer questions, assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA, and provide claimants with status updates on their existing claims.
