Notice of Proposed Rulemaking: Labor Organization Annual Financial Reports: LM Form Revisions

The Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) published, on October 13, 2020, a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to promulgate a rule that updates and revises 29 CFR Part 403 in order to improve the Form LM-2 Labor Organization Annual Report and introduce a Form LM-2 Long Form (LF). OLMS initiated this rulemaking pursuant to the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (LMRDA), 29 U.S.C. 401 et seq., in order to promote the statutory interest of labor organization financial integrity and transparency.
