The DEEOIC Resource Centers are now open to visitors, by appointment only. A claimant may schedule an in person appointment with the Resource Center for assistance related to their claim. Only one individual will be allowed to attend the in person appointments, and must wear a mask at all times. If the claimant indicates he or she needs a family member or Authorized Representative to provide assistance during the appointment, the Resource Center will grant an exemption. The claimant and their family member or Authorized Representative can sit together, but they must wear a mask. Upon arrival to the Resource Center, the scheduled appointee must call the Resource Center in order for an employee to provide them access to the center. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact the Resource Center at the number below.
We remain operational and committed to ensuring that we meet the needs of our claimants, authorized representatives, and stakeholders, and that they continue to receive the assistance needed to allow for timely adjudication of their claims. Resource Center employees remain available by telephone to answer questions, file claim forms, conduct Occupational History interviews, and provide services necessary to continue operations. If you have documents that need transmitting to the Department of Labor, we strongly encourage you to use the Energy Document Portal to upload documents directly to your case file.
The Resource Centers will continue to maintain the drop box outside the office access door for individuals to deliver claim related documentation. A Resource Center staff member will be available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. to receive documents that require submission to the Department of Labor. If you have documents that you would like to send to the Department of Labor, you may leave them at the door during these times. In order to do so, please call the Resource Center when you arrive. Again, listed below are the phone numbers for each Resource Center.
NOTE: Please DO NOT leave any documents at Resource Center doors without confirming that the Resource Center staff person witnesses you leaving the documents. This is for the confidentiality of your personal and health information.
