Small Business Vendor Outreach Sessions
On This Page
To increase the U.S. Department of Labor's utilization of all types of small businesses, the Department's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) sponsors Small Business Vendor Outreach Sessions (VOS). These sessions offer small businesses the opportunity to market their capabilities directly to OSDBU and agency program officials and learn about potential Department procurement opportunities. Conversely, Department procurement officials can learn more about the diverse small business resources available to meet their procurement needs.
Department of Labor agencies buy a wide variety of goods and services valued at approximately $2.2 billion each year. Each DOL agency has a responsibility for procuring its own goods and services in support of the agency's mission.
Vendor Outreach Sessions are held in the Department of Labor Great Hall on the second Wednesday of the designated month (unless otherwise noted) from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The sessions are open conference forums for vendors to meet directly with agency acquisition and program personnel (appointments are not necessary). Online registration will be available 30 days prior to each session. Follow-up meetings with agency representatives may be scheduled for a later date, if mutually agreed upon. The address is:

Before you register for a Vendor Outreach Session, please visit other sites on the Small Business Procurement Power Page to learn about the mission of each DOL agency and what each agency buys.
The Procurement Power Page includes: What the Department of Labor Buys, a booklet which describes different agency functions; Department of Labor Annual Acquisition Plan and Procurement Forecast; and Department of Labor Grants Information.
Parking near the Department of Labor Frances Perkins Building is very limited. We strongly encourage the use of Metro. Metro's Judiciary Square station on the Red Line is accessible at 4th and D Streets, NW (a diagonal walk from the Frances Perkins Building entrance at 3rd & C Streets, NW).
Enter the Department at the 3rd & C Streets, NW entrance, obtain visitor's clearance, check in at the VOS registration table located in the 3rd & C Streets lobby to confirm your arrival, then proceed to the Great Hall on the First Floor.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
