Accessibility Statement

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is committed to providing access to all individuals who are seeking information from our website. To provide this information, the DOL website has been designed to comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended and currently adheres to WCAG 2.0 or higher accessibility standards.

Section 508 requires that all individuals with disabilities (whether they are federal government employees or members of the general public) have access to, and use of information and data, comparable to that provided to individuals without disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on the department. To achieve this goal, DOL provides additional services to make information more readily accessible for everyone. To obtain information on disability and DOL's Reasonable Accommodation Policy and Procedures, contact the CRC's Reasonable Accommodation Resource Center (RARC) by Voice: (202) 693-5855 or Fax: (202) 693-6505; Email: rarc.info@dol.gov.

Any individual with a disability who experiences difficulty accessing information on any DOL website should contact the DOL Section 508 Program Office (headed by DOL 508 Program Manager Brandon Jubar) by sending an email message to 508Matters@dol.gov.

The email should include:

  1. the nature of the accessibility problem encountered (please do not include personal medical information in describing the accessibility issue),
  2. the URL (web address) of the page or pages in question,
  3. the specific information sought, and
  4. the individual’s email address for a response.

A member of the Section 508 Program Office will respond within three business days, then work with the responsible agency to provide the information being sought.

If you are looking to obtain more information related to the complaint process, please contact the Civil Rights Center at (202) 693-6500.

If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.
