To provide State Employment Security Agencies (SESAs) information on the use of the Treasury UTF On-Line system to complete CWC reimbursement transactions, and to forward interim instructions for reporting those transactions on the ETA 2112.

To transmit a list of military addresses for SESAs' use in sending notices of claim filing, and subsequent notices of monetary and nonmonetary determinations to the appropriate branch of the military.

To provide information about NAUIAB's Annual Conference. The conference will be in Baltimore, Maryland from May 31 through June 4, 1998.

To advise States of the position currently taken by the IRS with respect to the levy authority on unemployment compensation (UC) provided by the Taxpayers' Relief Act (TPRA) of 1997, and to provide interim instructions for States in handling levy notices.

To announce the publication and distribution of a technical assistance guide (TAG) for providing educational services in the Summer Youth Employment and Training Program (SYETP) and the distribution of the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities'

To announce the approval and extension of the data collection authority for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit(WOTC) program and the Welfare-to-Work (WtW) Tax Credit by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB); transmit the revised administrative and redesigned reporting forms; and provide related guidance.

To provide tables for Fiscal Years (FY) 1981-96 showing estimated Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA) payments made by employers of each State and the amounts returned to the States for program administration and benefit payments. Totals for FY 1981-96 are also included.
