To revise and provide clarification to the instructions for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998 Transition Summer Report (WTSR).

To provide, for review and comment, the draft One-Stop Guide to Accessibility and Accommodation of Persons with Disabilities. This document contains guidance on programmatic and physical access for individuals with disabilities under section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (section 504), the nondiscrimination and equal opportunity provisions (section 188) of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA), and their implementing regulations.

To advise States of the opportunity to submit a Supplemental Budget Request (SBR) for funding of the subject position.

To announce the release of the first web-based versions of the Occupational Information Network, known as O*NET. O*NET OnLine and O*NET 3.0 -- the database that powers it -- are now available on the Internet. The Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration is releasing two upgraded O*NET products: O*NET OnLine and the O*NET 3.0 Database.

To provide planning estimates and guidance for Program Year (PY) 2000 State One-Stop Occupational Employment Statistics (OS/OES) grant funds, by State, for the OES survey.

To transmit the subject computation for State Employment Security Agency (SESA) usage in computing minimum weekly DUA amounts for all major disasters declared during the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2000.

To announce the establishment of a Trade Act Taskforce.

To provide further information and guidance concerning the requirements of the prevailing conditions of work provisions of the Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA) and to provide answers to questions raised by State Employment Security Agencies (SESAs) and other interested parties.

To transmit the proposed change to the Interim Final Rule on the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998 relative to the classification of Administrative Costs. This language has been reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget and it mirrors what will be published in the Final Rule late in July. Due to the full implementation date of July 1, 2000, OMB has cleared this language prior to the publication of the Final Rule, to assist the system with further implementation. This definition of Administrative Cost classification goes into effect on July 1, 2000.
