Regional office staff serve as advocates for women in the labor force and as a source of information about issues affecting working women.

The Women’s Bureau informs and educates individuals and organizations about the issues facing women in the labor force, while also promoting policy and programmatic changes aimed at increasing equal economic and employment opportunity for working women and their families.
