This notice announces and solicits nominees for a UI Benefit Financing Seminar to be held October 21- 24, 2014, in Washington, D.C.

To announce the release and availability of ETA Occasional Paper 2009-22: Think Entrepreneurs: A Call to Action – Integrating Entrepreneurship into the Public Workforce System Throughout America.

To assist State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) or agencies designated by Governors as "Cooperating State Agencies" (CSAs) (also jointly referred to as "States," "Recipients," "Grantees," "Applicant," or "You") in gaining access to FY 2019 TAA Program TaOA funds by completing and submitting Standard Form (SF) 424, Application for Federal Assistance, through www.grants.gov.

To notify State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) of the availability of Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 funds to expand existing UI REA programs, or to implement a new REA program if the state does not currently have one.

To ensure states are aware that the social security survivors and old age retirement annuities and the Federal civilian pensions annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will not be increased for 2010 and to provide the U.S. Office of Personal Management Web site where the COLA information is located.

To bring attention to the revised Federal poverty guidelines for administrators of the SCSEP.

To assist State Workforce Agencies or agencies designated by Governors as "Cooperating State Agencies" (CSAs) (also jointly referred to as "states" in administering the TAA program by identifying the FY 2014 Second Distribution amounts to states and describing the formula methodology the Department of Labor (Department or We) used to calculate these amounts; and to describe the process for states to request TAA program reserve funds for training, employment and case management services, job search allowances, relocation allowances, and related state administration.

To ensure states are aware that the Federal military retired pay annual cost of living adjustment (COLA) will not be increased for 2010 and to provide the Department of Defense Web site where the COLA information is located.

To support the Department of Labor's (DOL) goal to expand the capacity of the American Job Center (AJC) network to serve persons receiving Social Security disability benefits, this Training and Employment Notice (TEN) notifies the workforce system about the Social Security Administration's (SSA) Ticket to Work program's new administrative processes for public workforce employment networks (EN). This TEN replaces TEN No. 02-14, Receiving Ticket to Work Payments as an Employment Network.

The purpose of this Training and Employment Guidance Letter (TEGL) is to provide guidance to states and grantees concerning the eligibility of individuals granted relief under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Initiative (DACA participants) with employment authorization documents (employment authorization) for program eligibility for Workforce Investment Act (WIA) programs and Wagner-Peyser Act programs.
