Director Kenneth J. Wolfe is the director of the Center for Faith and the director of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, at the U.S. Department of Labor. Serving as a political appointee in the Trump Administration since June 2025, Wolfe works on initiatives to promote religious freedom in the workplace and to combat religious discrimination, while creating greater opportunities for faith organizations to participate in the grant process.

Before his Department of Labor appointment, Wolfe was a career civil servant at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for nearly 23 years, serving as spokesman for the Administration for Children and Families and managing public affairs for the human services side of the agency. In his personal capacity, he has also written editorials focused on religious issues.

Prior to his service in the executive branch, Wolfe worked in news radio as an anchor and reporter. He later served in the legislative branch as a congressional staffer for seven years, first as the press secretary for Rep. Chris Smith (N.J.), then as a speechwriter and communications specialist at the House Republican Conference under Rep. J.C. Watts (Okla.). Wolfe has dedicated over 30 years of his career to federal government service.
