Strengthen Your Workforce
Since 1995, the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) has helped federal employers meet their talent needs with qualified candidates with disabilities seeking internships or permanent jobs. The WRP also assists federal agencies in complying with requirements under Section 501 of the Rehabilitation Act.
The candidates in the WRP talent database are college students, graduate students, and recent graduates with disabilities from a wide variety of majors and backgrounds. Each year, the database is renewed with a fresh set of students and graduates, and candidates can update their application and resume throughout the year. To see more information about the 2025 talent database, view the WRP Federal Employer Fact Sheet.
How WRP Can Help Recruit Talent
Federal Government employers can register for a WRP.gov account to search the WRP's database of thousands of resumes. By recruiting talent through the WRP, you can:
- Increase disability employment in your workplace by hiring qualified candidates.
- Streamline your search for candidates. Sort and filter candidates based on major, degree, job and location preference, keywords, and more.
- Access and save relevant candidate information easily. Select candidate applications and resumes for later viewing.
- Expedite the hiring process by using the Schedule A hiring authority. You can connect with WRP candidates directly regarding job opportunities and hire qualified candidates without posting a job announcement or going through the certification process.
