To advise states of the statutory amendments related to UC program integrity included in the TAAEA (Public Law (Pub. L.) 112-40), enacted on October 21, 2011.

To inform states regarding (i) the availability of additional funding and how to apply for the funding to cover administrative expenses and solutions that can be used to support the identity verification or validation of PUA claimants; (ii) to assist with efforts to prevent and detect fraud and imposter claims resulting from identity theft in the PUA and PEUC programs; and (iii) to recover fraud overpayments in the PUA and PEUC programs.

To advise states of the latest extension of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC08) program and temporary Extended Benefit (EB) provisions.

To advise states of sequestration rules for FY 2021 to ensure State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) apply these rules to mandatory Unemployment Insurance (UI) programs. These rules include the application of sequestration on delayed benefit payments for prior FYs and the resulting administrative costs.

To transmit the subject computation for State Workforce Agency usage in computing minimum weekly DUA amounts for all major disasters declared during the second quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2012.

To ensure states are aware that:
1) the social security survivors and old age retirement annuities and the Federal civilian pensions annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will increase for calendar year 2012, and
2) COLA information may be found on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Web site.

To provide guidelines for the FY 2021 UI RESEA grants and to invite State Workforce Agencies to submit applications for funding.

To ensure states are aware of the locality-based salary rates for certain Federal civilian employees.

To provide: a. Preliminary FY 2016 dollar and staff year base resource planning targets for UI operations to be used in planning and developing State Quality Service Plans (SQSP); b. General guidelines for FY 2016 resource planning; and c. An explanation of how the Department of Labor (Department) allocates base resources among states.

To ensure State Workforce Agencies are aware of the Federal military retired pay annual cost of living adjustment (COLA) provided by the Department of Defense.
