
Tim Cummings currently serves as the Acting Assistant Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of Labor. He previously held the role of Chief of Staff at the Employee Benefits Security Administration during the first Trump Administration.
Cummings brings over a decade of experience on Capitol Hill. Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff to Congressman William Timmons, and prior to that, he was Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Jackie Walorski. He also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Congressman Jodey Arrington and held earlier roles with Congressman Dennis Ross and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.
A native of Virginia, Tim is a graduate of the University of Richmond.
