April 6–July 31, 2026 — WRP school registration period.
Colleges and universities that wish to provide their students with the opportunity to apply to the WRP must have at least one School Coordinator register their school during this period. The School Coordinator must be college or university staff (in most cases, someone in the disability or career services office). After the registration period closes, college and university staff should email wrp@dol.gov if they would like to receive updates or have their school participate in the program.
June–September 2026 — WRP staff holds webinars for School Coordinators on some Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. ET. Our staff covers the WRP website and application, shares resources, and answers questions. A transcript and slides from the webinar are distributed to all Coordinators afterward.
August 17–October 4, 2026 — WRP student and recent graduate registration period.
December 2026 — WRP applications are made available to federal employers for one year.
