Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer and President Trump

Mission

The U.S. Department of Labor established the Center for Faith in response to the historic Executive Order that recognized the essential role of faith-based organizations in supporting our communities.

The Center for Faith engages with faith-based organizations to maximize their participation in grant funding opportunities and minimize regulatory burdens.

Our goal is engaging faith organizations to defend religious liberty and lift up individuals through the dignity of work and self-sufficiency; and to combat anti-Christian, anti-Semitic bias, as well as all forms of religious discrimination.

Establishment of The White House Faith Office

The White House Faith Office was established in 2025 under President Donald Trump as a White House agency to assist faith-based entities, community organizations, and houses of worship in their efforts to strengthen American families, promote work and self-sufficiency, and protect religious liberty.
