To announce the release of a new UI Fraud Risk Management page on WorkforceGPS under the UI Community of Practice (CoP) and to notify states that the National Association of State Workforce Agencies’ (NASWA) UI Integrity Center is a key resource available to support states’ UI fraud risk management efforts.  

To announce the renewal of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Data Validation (DV) Handbook, Benefits and Tax (Employment and Training (ET) Handbook No. 361) and the Data Validation Operations Guide (ET Handbook No. 411).

To inform State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) of the release of the updated Equitable Access Toolkit published on WorkforceGPS under the UI Community of Practice (COP). This toolkit provides SWAs with actionable solutions for common and emerging issues related to equitable access to unemployment compensation (UC) programs.

This Training and Employment Notice (TEN) also announces an updated IDH Participation Agreement (PA) – Version 6.0, which states must execute to access DNP data sources and services through the IDH.

To announce the publication of the final rule on Improving Protections for Workers in Temporary Agricultural Employment in the United States (Farmworker Protection Rule), which makes changes to the regulations regarding the Wagner-Peyser Act Employment Service (ES), in addition to changes to the regulations governing the H-2A temporary nonimmigrant agricultural worker visa program at 20 CFR 655, subpart B, and 29 CFR 501. This Training and Employment Notice (TEN) describes revisions to the ES regulations at 20 CFR parts 651, 653, and 658, which relate to the Agricultural Recruitment System (ARS) and the situations where State Workforce Agencies (SWA) discontinue providing ES services to employers.

To provide State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) notice that the U.S. Department of Labor (Department) has begun a project to modernize the Unemployment Insurance Database Management System (UIDBMS), which will include changing the system from an on-premises server-based reporting system to a cloud-based reporting system; and to announce a national webinar to inform states of the modernization’s progress.
