ILAB’s new ImportWatch U.S. Procurement Dashboard provides visibility into products at risk of being produced with forced or indentured child labor. With this tool, federal procurement officers can meet self-assessment requirements and take proactive steps to prevent taxpayer dollars from funding tainted goods.

ILAB also maintains the List of Products Requiring Contractor Certification as to Forced or Indentured Child Labor—covering products and source countries which it has a reasonable basis to believe are produced by forced or indentured child labor, pursuant to Executive Order 13126. This ensures U.S. federal agencies do not procure goods tied to this egregious form of exploitation. Contractors supplying items on the List must certify that they have made a good faith effort to determine whether forced or indentured child labor was used to produce the items supplied.
