Tip: Completing and Filing Form LM-2 Electronically in Adobe- Reader-
If your labor organization's fiscal year began July 1, 2004 or later and total annual receipts were $250,000 or more, you must complete and file the Revised Form LM-2 electronically with the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS).
To successfully complete and file the Revised Form LM-2, you must use Adobe- Reader- version 6.x. The Revised Form LM-2 will not function properly in any version other than version 6.x. If you already have Adobe- Reader- version 7 installed on your computer, you will need to uninstall it and re-boot your computer before downloading and installing Adobe- Reader- version 6.x.
Please note that you can install Adobe- Reader- version 7 after you have installed Adobe- Reader- version 6.x and have both versions of the software on your computer. If you do have both versions, to use the Revised Form LM-2, open Adobe- Reader- version 6.x and from within Adobe- Reader- open the Revised Form LM-2 using the -File- Menu.
Also please note that you need to ensure that anyone to whom you send the electronic Revised Form LM-2 to review and/or apply digital signatures before filing it electronically must open the form using Adobe- Reader- version 6.x in order for the form to function properly.
Download Adobe- Reader- version 6.x free from the Adobe Web site.
Select the appropriate operating system and version you are using on your computer and click continue. Then check the box for Adobe- Reader- version 6.0.1 and click download.
Download the Revised Form LM-2 software from the OLMS Web site.
