Department of Labor Files Legal Action Regarding Form T-1
On May 31, 2005, the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations v. Chao, 409 F. 3d 377 (D.C.Cir.) vacated the provisions of the Final Rule, 68 Fed. Reg. 58374, relating to the Form T-1 (Trust Annual Report). The Court upheld the provisions relating to the Form LM-2.
On July 15, 2005, the Department of Labor filed a petition for rehearing and petition for rehearing en banc.
