OLMS Offers BETA Release of Revised Form LM-2 and Form T-1 Software

The Department of Labor's Office of Labor-Management Standards has posted beta versions of the revised Form LM-2 and Form T-1 software, User Guides, and Instructions on the OLMS Website. From the links below you can download and explore the latest versions of the electronic filing software including user guides and form instructions.

Access the revised Form LM-2 software here.

Access the Form T-1 (Form T1 is no longer applicable and has been removed pursuant to a court order) software here.

Once these new electronic forms are effective, labor organizations may choose to complete them electronically by typing financial data directly into the forms or for those unions that keep records electronically, to import financial data from their accounting programs into the electronic Form LM-2 and Form T-1.

For electronic importation, the Department has provided Technical Specifications to assist unions in converting their financial data into a format supported by the software.

The revised Form LM-2 User Guide and the Form T-1 User Guide (Form T1 is no longer applicable and has been removed pursuant to a court order) will guide users through the process of preparing and completing the forms, providing instructions and navigation tips to help users download the forms, enter information directly onto the forms, import data files extracted from the union's accounting system into the forms, and add digital signatures.

These beta versions were created by SRA International and will be posted for approximately one month. OLMS encourages revised Form LM-2 and Form T-1 filers to download the software and closely examine the functions and features. OLMS is committed to making any necessary enhancements to the software. If you see room for improvement, please notify OLMS by sending an email to olms-public@dol.gov.

The new forms are not currently being accepted by OLMS. For that reason the Digital Signature and Electronic Submission features of the software have been disabled in these beta versions. Also, in order to give users increased access and greater flexibility, the Pre-fill feature of the software has been disabled. Once this feature is enabled, its use will lock recurring data items, such as the union's name and other identifying information, on the forms.

If you have technical questions regarding the installation of the software please call the Department's National Call Center for toll free assistance at: 1-866-4-USA-DOL (1-866-487-2365).

To file your organization's current year report, you may use the software available here: Current LM-2, LM-3, LM-4 Electronic Forms.

Should you have any follow-up questions please feel free to submit them via e-mail to OLMS at: olms-public@dol.gov.
